This policy covers emergentimitations.com and Emergent Imitations Studio, the in-house tool Emergent Imitations uses to upload its videos to YouTube.
emergentimitations.com is a static website. It has no accounts, forms, cookies or analytics, and it does not collect personal information from visitors. Our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs, such as IP addresses, for security and reliability.
Emergent Imitations Studio uses YouTube API Services. By using it, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and the Google Privacy Policy applies.
The Studio is used only by its owner, to manage the owner’s own YouTube channels. With the owner’s permission, it accesses those channels to upload videos and to set their titles, descriptions, thumbnails, playlists and publishing schedules. It does not access, collect, store or share any data about viewers or other YouTube users.
The only data the Studio keeps is the authorization token Google issues when the owner grants access, stored in a local file on the owner’s computer and never shared. It keeps no copies of YouTube data: the videos, titles and descriptions it uploads are the owner’s own content, created locally before upload. No data from YouTube API Services is sold, shared, or used for any purpose other than managing the owner’s channels.
The token is kept only while access is authorized. Revoking access invalidates it, and the local token file is then deleted. To request deletion of any data related to the Studio, write to the contact address below; requests are handled within 30 days.
Access can be revoked at any time through the Google security settings page.
